College View - Mississippi State
In a landmark project for Mississippi State, Greystar and Boingo tasked us with the comprehensive buildout of the low voltage network for the new College View housing units. This ambitious project encompassed 656 beds, 46,000 sq ft of retail space, a 7,000 sq ft child development and family studies center, a 3,000+ sq ft clubhouse, and over 3,000 low voltage data connections. Our challenge was to ensure seamless connectivity and security across units, access points, cameras, and access control systems. We achieved this through the strategic installation of new Intermediate Distribution Frames (IDFs), new switches in the Main Distribution Frame (MDF), extensive fiber optic cabling, and meticulous cabling of all units and common areas. Our solution not only met the complex's immediate needs but also laid the groundwork for future technological advancements, ensuring College View remains at the forefront of campus living experiences.
